Although it was a damp and drizzly day in Alcast Park last Saturday the mood wasn't dampened nor the performance, with 'Scorthy coming away with a resounding 48-27 win. We travel to Clonmel tomorrow as we vie to get closer to them in the league tables, it promises to be a competitive affair. We also saw strong wins for the South East Lions against Ashbourne (12-41) and a very enjoyable game at home on Sunday as the J1s were comprehensive against Malahide with a scoreline of 47-8. Back in action this weekend with the Lions taking on Greystones in Wexford on Sunday. Plenty of fixtures for our Youths. Minis have blitzes both at home and in Tullow on Sunday. We hope you enjoy!
Our President, Gerald Dunne, is holding a President's Lunch ahead of our Dolphins fixture on December 7th. We have guest speakers Ed Murphy (Greentech) and Mick Kearny (former Irish Rugby team Manager) and tickets are priced at 25Euro. You can get your tickets using the following link:
Best of luck to Ireland tonight following a less than hoped start to the Autumn campaign last weekend. We might have to wait another while to complete our new signing!! The clubhouse will be open from 7pm for the Argentina game so do come along.
We wish all teams the very best of luck and safe games this weekend. Looking forward to seeing plenty of support on the sidelines.
