Aoife Wafer was announced as the Guinness Player of the Championship for the Women's Six Nations.

At an event in the Mansion House in Dublin support young women in sport, the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Emma Blain, announced that Aoife had been named Player of the Championship and presented Aoife with her award.

This is a fantastic achievement, with Aoife being the first Irish player to ever win the award.
