Our U14 boys produced a fantastic all-round performance away from home against Tullamore, securing an impressive 46–10 victory. The team showed great determination in defence, creativity in attack and excellent teamwork throughout the game.

A strong defensive line and fearless tackling from the likes of Brody Earle and Cian Barnwell Ronan helped keep a quick Tullamore side at bay. One of the standout moments came in the first half when second row Patrick Barron intercepted the ball, broke through the line and raced under the posts for an excellent try.

The boys also made much better use of the width of the pitch, giving wingers Cillian Atkinson and Marlon Krawczyk plenty of opportunities to get involved. There was some clever kicking throughout, including a fantastic kick-and-chase from full-back John Stamp, who raced down the wing to score his second try of the game.

The link-up between scrum-halves Rian Carty and Noah Veale and outhalves Jack Deegan and Culainn Corcoran was particularly impressive. Their scanning, communication and passing helped distribute the workload more evenly and created opportunities across the pitch. It was great to see the boys putting the skills and combinations they have been practising at training into action.

John Stamp and Owen O’Sullivan both finished with three tries each, while Patrick Barron and Adam Ryan also crossed the line. Jack Deegan added two conversions, with Culainn Corcoran contributing another, bringing the final score to 46–10.

A brilliant team performance with plenty of positives to build on. Well done to all the players and coaches on an excellent away victory!
