Saturday April 5th 2025 will go down in history books as a landmark day for the club.  The day started with the club 2 points behind league leaders Midleton with Midleton playing away to Monkstown and Enniscorthy travelling to Belfast Harlequins. With a promising first half in Belfast(HT 5-19) and Midleton behind in Monkstown, the travelling scorthy supporters ware watching their phones and the match updates from Monkstown in a heightened sense of excitement and nervousness. With less than 20 minutes remaining, SCorthy scored a
crucial  4th try. The last 15 minutes were nerve wracking with Harlequins scoring 2 tries and we down to 13 men with the score 26-29 with three minutes remaining. Meanwhile in Dublin, Midleton was also staging a comeback scoring a late 4th try to come within 2 points of Monkstown with minutes remaining.

With frayed nerves and a lot of nail biting, the final whistle was met with a sense of jubilation and exhaustion! Enniscorthy had secured
the AIL 2C title by a single point and an automatic promotion to 2B next season. Hearty congratulations to both team, coaches and supporters. Full match report here - https://dashboard.clubzap.com/articles/147969
