Following what can only be described as a nail-biting finish against Ballyclare, we travel to Belfast tomorrow for the last game of the season just 2 points behind leaders Midleton. The South East Lions play Dublin University in the Paul Cusask Cup on Sunday at 1pm in Trinity. We hope to see plenty of travelling support to cheer on the lads. We have only a few Youths teams in action this weekend, the very best of luck to the Boys U14 and Boys U16 who are in Leinster League Division 1 finals this weekend. Minis are in Blitz action this weekend at various locations. Boys U9s are at Alcast Park, make sure to bring cash for the shop which is being run by the U13s to raise money for their trip to Wales.
On May 2nd we host a French visiting team - US Alfortville Rugby - at Alcast Park. We'll play a friendly with kick off at 7pm, there'll be music in the Clubhouse afterwards and all are welcome. Thanks to Jim Delaney for helping to organise the trip, although given his grandsons play for Alfortville I'm not sure who he'll be cheering for on the day!
The very best of luck to all teams playing this weekend, as ever we look forward to a weekend of safe and competitive rugby. Let's close out the season strong.
