In a thrilling encounter at Bruff, Enniscorthy secured a hard-fought victory over the home side with a final score of 33-19. The match saw an explosive first half, dominated by Enniscorthy's attacking prowess.

Enniscorthy came out firing, with Rhyan Whelan opening the scoring with a well-timed try. Shortly after, Jack Kelly added to the lead with a strong effort, showcasing the visitors' offensive capabilities. Whelan then capped off a fantastic first half with his second try, bringing the score to 21-0 at the break. His kicking was also impeccable, converting all three tries to make it 21-0.

The second half began with Bruff fighting back, earning several penalties that put points on the board and narrowed the gap. With just 10 minutes remaining, the score stood at 21-19, leaving Enniscorthy with a tense finish ahead.

Just when it seemed the away sides recent troubles in closing out games would come back to bite, Enniscorthy responded emphatically. James Doyle scored a stunning try from his own 10-metre line, breaking through the Bruff defence and giving Enniscorthy some breathing room. Miguel Byrne then sealed the victory with another try in the 81st minute, ensuring a final score of 33-19.

Rhyan Whelan’s standout performance, with two tries and five successful conversions, was instrumental in Enniscorthy's win. Despite a challenging second half, the team showed resilience and skill to secure a crucial victory on the road. 'Scorthy will look to build on the first win of the campaign on Saturday 9th November with a home game against Omagh in Alcast Park.
